Washington Park is a neighborhood in Seattle’s east-central region.[1] The main attraction of this neighborhood is the 175-acre Washington Park, which encompasses the Washington Park Arboretum as well as the Seattle Japanese Garden. The Washington Park Arboretum is planted with thousands of azaleas and rhododendrons that rise up to 15 feet high. It also displays magnolias, chestnut groves, and dogwoods as well as other blooming flowers.[2] The Japanese Garden covers 3.5 acres and exhibits colorful displays of flowers including azaleas, cherry trees, and Japanese irises centered around a waterfall.[3]
