My experience till now says that United States has unbelievable, breathtaking, amazing and electrified cities where full of attractions. Wherever, a tourist go he will get excellent tourist attractions at every corner in every city of United States. Beautiful monuments creating the history and its natural and scenic beauty always fascinate people may be they are exploring the historical site or a modern one. Washington DC is a world popular place where most of the people want to live and be a part of it. This capital of the United States of America always lives with contradiction and sarcasm.

At one side you will see huge traffic rushing here and there and at other side you will find pleasing beauties that makes our heart calm. Actually, I have a friend residing in Washington DC so it has been easier to explore this dazzling city. And when he came to receive me at the port he told me that you are not going to stay at any hotels. Well, you are staying with me in my home. Great feeling, when a friend shows so much of love and affection. All of my troubles went away as I was having a friend who will take me to explore this huge city.

We saw White House first as it was my wish to take a glance of it once when I go to Washington. After completing my dream to see White House, we went to explore other famous sites like Reflecting pool, Lincoln, Washington Monument, Korean and WWII memorials. All of these magnificent places lit up their lights and started sparkling after the sun set. When it became the evening time we went to one of the famous bars in Washington for hangout. Well, everyone knows that Washington has two faces which you will explore during the day time and during the night. So do not miss to explore the nightlife when you are in Washington DC.

As people enjoy highly rich life, Washington offers every individual fantastic place to hangout during night. So for that you will get plenty of bars which will make you feel enthusiasm. We also enjoyed having fun at Georgetown area where we tasted the Vietnamese meal and a couple of beers. Days pass so easily. When the time went so soon was unclear for me when I was lying on my bead and thinking about the entire day. My interest grew stronger as I enjoyed my first day. Next day morning, sunrays entered from the windows to wake me up so that I could get ready and plan for a better trip than the first.

Suddenly, my friend knocked the door and entered by saying common get ready we have lot to do this day. Honestly, I was so happy that I got packed myself within an hour, get well dressed and went to explore Washington. This time we went to explore the huge International Spy Museum that remains pretty busy but was great. Then from there we went onto the Union Station, Capitol Hill quite isolated so we had fun as we want. After that, we went to experience the Air & Space Museum where we saw Apollo 13 and various other exhibitions of well-known eclectic items like Dorothy’s red shoes, Thingies laptop from Sex in the City, Abe Lincoln’s hat, Kermit puppet, the bar where black people rejected for the service from Woolworths in Greensboro any many others that educated me a lot.

I also enjoyed photographing various monuments and wandered around the streets waiting for the evening to take its place and the lightings to start glowing at all these monuments. I was not alone with my friend but his other friends were also there to join the company. Washington is filled with historical monuments, museums, and government buildings which we explored firstly. Later on the third day we went to see the Us Capitol building, the museums of the Smithsonian, the National Archives, the White House, the Washington Monument, and the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials.

Exploring the Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery across the Potomac River in Virginia worth a lot. Also we enjoyed visiting towards the northeast of Washington in Maryland. After that few minutes ride from this site we reached to another great city called Baltimore. From here the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean could be easily accessed. If you want to enjoy the best nightlife then head to the city and the surrounding suburbs in Maryland and Virginia which offers lively and exciting nightlife. Here you will get various clubs, bars, and theaters which are very convincing. Many restaurants are also there that satisfy every types of people.

Washington DC is a fascinating place for most of the Americans. This place is teamed with politics, diplomacy, history, and scandal. So my visit to this vibrant place is a dream come true. Though there are unlimited attractions and things to do at this city, but still exploring few of them is a real pleasure for me. Such heavenly time comes once in our life and so I will never forget these precious moments. Thanks to my friend who made few of my days special and will always remember this wonderful time till the last breath.
