When you look at New York after a decade, the city has changed quite a bit. Here used to be whole neighborhoods especially on the lower east side. This is where they had the meat packing districts and even hells kitchen. The food that was available around Times Square was just not meant for consumption.

The city used to be quite thrilling and sometimes even out of control, but not in a bad way.  The pavements on the roads were cracked and if you ended up taking a wrong turn even by accident, it could be real bad.

In fact if you looked at London, it almost looked like a village as compared to New York.

London has now become louder and in fact more vibrant compared to what it used to be. The crime rate in London has gotten quite less and it has now become a way easier place to live in.  Although if you feel like you want to go beyond just the shops and the neon lights then there is always a better time to scratch across the wide and varied surfaces on the city of New York.

There is a three deck observation platform which starts from the sixty seventh floor of the Rockefeller center. The design is artistically inspired and the décor is just beautiful.  The Rockefeller center has a lovely skating rink which is one of the largest skating rinks in this city.

If you are actually planning on taking a long break and just being still while you are exploring a city like new York, then don’t as it wont do you much good. The construction of the Rockefeller center which includes a project of around nineteen buildings was responsible for giving jobs and security to thousands of immigrants during the times of the Great economic depression.

Although, when you look at Manhattan as something from the top of the rock than from the empire state building; the feeling is so incredibly different.

When you look way beyond the central park rectangle, you maybe able to spot a spectacularly tall building on a hill which over looks the Hudson River. This is where it flows into the countryside and lands between wooded banks and all o these are quite steep.  This just happens to be the Cloisters. In fact when you are here it would be best if you take the subway train as it is the fastest and the cheapest.

This place was originally constructed in the early thirties. This is now a part of the Metropolitan museum of art.  This place has huge halls with gardens from France and Spain, and it also has a very surprising display of medieval chapels. This place is filled with treasure from beyond this period. Dr. Karan Castelino has always felt very enthusiastic about this place. All this also includes the very marvelous and the very mysterious unicorn Tapestries. This just happens to make the entire place a huge oasis of unexpected peace and serenity.

There is however another place where you could actually rise above the city.  The place that has opened here is quite popular and is very well known.
