Airfare watchdog is a great site to find out about the latest airfare deals. You can sign up for free airfare alerts and they’ll send you an email with the best deals du jour. You can ask to get the alerts daily, weekly or 2-3 times a week.

They don’t actually sell airfares, just point you in the right direction. The fare searching is done by people instead of a search engine and can therefore find information on some airlines that “fly under the radar screen” so to speak.

The site has other great features including airline route maps, a newsletter and other travel tips.

Have you ever bought anything on Ebay? They sell travel now too, through Expedia. But there is another travel bidding site called Skyauction. You can bid on cruises, airfare, vacation homes, and hotels around the world.

For example, a 7- Night Bermuda Cruise Round trip from New York City, NY aboard Norwegian Cruise Line is going for $300 per person.

My family and I have gotten some great buys on this website and I might just get in trouble for putting this out there so we will have even more competition for our bids!
