Portland is the third largest cities in the Pacific Northwest that offers breathtaking attractions to the tourists who throngs here from all over the world. The City of Roses is among the most beautiful cities in the Western America which worth every money. This is a city which is unknown to many people but its beauty is the only witness that draws most of the tourists from every corner of the earth. This city is located to the far northwest of Oregon, across the Willamette River towards the south flowing together with the Columbia River at Vancouver which is in Washington.

My journey towards this spectacular city started from water and ended from water itself as I went there by a ship. After reaching to this city I wandered around the city nearby my hotel and took rest on the first day. The second day when sun raised to its limit I went out of the hotel and started exploring few of the major attractions here. And at a distance of 50 miles towards the eastern direction I experienced the royal Mount Hood which creates a perfect backdrop for the skyline of this city. The Pacific Ocean could be found at a distance of 90 miles towards the western direction over the Coast Range.
