We wrapped up our fabulous two-day trade show yesterday and we’d like to share a few of our experiences with you.

On our first evening in Lyon, we were entertained at a soiree hosted by Lyon’s mayor and held in the Lyon Hotel de Ville (city hall), a gloriously baroque building whose interior just took our breath away. We were greeted by models in outrageous, white costumes striking flirtatious poses. One took a liking to Bill as you can see from the photo.

On our second evening, the city closed off a charming, narrow street for our large group of tour operators from around the world.  We tasted wine and cheese and were entertained by street musicians before our dinner in a typical Lyon bistrot.

At dinner, we were entertained by people doing magic and card tricks. The photo depicts a “mentalist” who surprised our table with extraordinary feats of mind reading.

Lyon, the third largest city in France, is set about half-way between Paris and the Cote D’ Azur in the Rhone -Alps region. We will bring you more pictures tomorrow of this elegant and historical city. Until then,  a bientot!
