Honolulu is a fun and ultra-modern city that has vast diversity. 50 out of every 100 people in this world want to explore the city of Honolulu. The county of Honolulu accommodates some 800,000 people with all variation of races and cultures. Because of this, O’ahu got a nickname as The Gathering Place. For a family, the best gathering place is the Waikiki Beach that streaches from the slopes of Diamond Head State Monument to Ala Moana and the Ala Wai Yacht Harbour. This is also a best shore for experienced swimmers.

Honolulu has a list of fascinating places that offers breathtaking attractions to every tourist who throngs here to explore the city and be a part of enjoyment. Major places that itself is an attractions are Ala Moana, Chinatown, Manoa Valley or Makiki Manao Valley, East Honolulu-Diamond Head Kahala, Windward O’ahu, Leeward O’ahu & Central O’ahu, and the North Shore. These sites offer magnificent attractions that worth every money. If we date back to history, this place is surviving from past 60 million years and has been a vibrant place for visitors.

When I went to this city without thinking about anything else, I first arranged for the accommodation. The island of O’ahu is a beautiful place in Honolulu where some five million people visits every year. Well, no doubt, this island boasts several finest hotels in the world. This is the land of Aloha and you will experience the well-known Aloha Spirit in most of the fine area hotels. The Sheraton Moana Surfrider Hotel and the Pink Lady of the Pacific – the Royal Haiwaiian Hotel are the two oldest hotels in Waikiki. As this island offers plenty of hotels to its visitors, you will easily book a room to stay and rest.

The downtown and airport areas of Honolulu are among the nicest, prettiest and cleanest in the country. So without any hesitation you can stay there and is a better place for those who reach here by flight. Well, when you go to a travel destination and come back without trying the food of that place then your trip remains little incomplete. So add a flavor in your life by enjoying the food of this place which is very delicious. And when Honolulu is rich in dining and drinking choices, you cannot skip this easily. Cuisines from all cultures could be found at Honolulu in abundance. As it is a world-popular tourist destination you will get various restaurants that suites every pockets.

I love shopping so firstly while wandering the streets of Honolulu I enjoyed some shopping and made my mood to explore the city. I should say that Chinatown district is the perfect place for shopping. Also the historic buildings and museums are located close to the site you can enjoy all of them and went to your room back with some shopping materials. I took a tour to explore this city perfectly as I was totally new. So my tour was divided into few sections. At first, the tour began from Downtown History where I saw the famous Iolani Palace of 19th century and lies on King Street that is a place full mana, which is called as spirit.

Here I found out some oldest structures of Hawaii like the original Mission Houses Museum. The Bishop Museum, Pearl Harbour Memorials, the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific-Punchbowl and some mind-blowing attractions around the island was all included into the tour and I was impressed from this. The population of Honolulu is 371,657 and the average temperature could be experienced with 80 Degrees Fahrenheit. What fascinated me a lot is the Peral Harbour that gained world popularity because of Japan bombing leading to the entrance of United States into the World War II.

Today, Pearl Harbour welcomes most frequent visitors from all over the world and became the major attraction of Hawaii. So whenever you reach to Honolulu or Hawaii do not miss this golden opportunity to explore the Pearl Harbour. As Honolulu is the harbour city and lies at a distance of 2550 miles towards the southwest of Los Angeles, I went here by ship and explored the water life to an extent. Also I enjoyed the surrounding areas while traveling by water. It gives pleasure to explore the city from the port. Well, those who are traveling by air can reach to the Honolulu International Airport and start exploring the city.

How my one week has passed, I don’t know. But all I know is that the city really fascinated me a lot and worth more than my money. I learnt about Pearl Harour when I was very small in school days and today when I saw that in real life….i do not have any words to explore my feelings. But yes, besides this, Honolulu is the best place that offers breathtaking attractions for which tourists rush to this city and enjoy a great time.
