Anaheim CityThe city of Anaheim has become one of the best travel destinations in California that lies in Orange County, and is the home of Disneyland. The city has more than 300,000 populations and the city feels proud to welcome 40 million visitors every year. The city lies at a distance of 28 miles towards the south of Los Angeles County. Therefore, I drove down from Los Angeles to visit this miraculous city and experience what the city has to offer to me. Even though I was alone to visit the city, I was so happy to explore it alone. Well, I am a kind of people who love to share words with unknown persons.

The Orange County is the world popular travel destination, renowned as the happiest place on earth. This entire credit goes to Disneyland as the Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Donald Duck has created this Magic Kingdom. So my first wish was to see how much beautiful is the city, which is decorated by the Disneyland. Moreover, this is really a magical city with breathtaking attractions on its lap. I wonder how much beautiful is this world. After exploring the city’s attractions, I wondered how beautiful the earth is that offers magnificent beauties to every people. So if you are planning a trip to this city, let me give you the list of some great museums and historical district sites that are worth visiting.

Remember, whenever you travel, first check out the climate of the area to make you comfortable to explore the city. This city has average temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition to this, let me tell you that this city in its early days had a booming wine commerce. These days, the city boasts outstanding amusements and boutique shopping. Every year the city hosts Annual Festival of the Whales during the month of March and the Orange County Fair during July. However, let me again tell you that this city will offer you amazing history of its own.

Anaheim Landing Site

It was the first port in the city of Anaheim that was established right after the year 1856. The waters were considered unsafe, but still the port flourished for many years. Due to the railroads that began to develop in the area, the use of seaport has been greatly rejected. Today, this spot is know as Seal Beach and lies at the northeastern border of Electric Avenue and Seal Beach Boulevard.

The Queen Mary

It is actually a ship that is considered as the most famed ocean liners in history. This ship is permanently docked at the Long Beach, which is close to Anaheim. You can take a tour who will take you through this historic ship.  And one more thing, rumors spread that the Queen Mary is a haunted ship. So you decide by your own after visiting this spot that is it really haunted for being named such throughout its lifespan. I bet you will enjoy this attraction that offers casual and fine dining, and also gift shops.

House of Victorian Visions Bridal Museum

It is among the few museums in the United States that holds great collections of bridal gown and accessories from the Victorian era. And the main thing is that it showcases them as a permanent display. They provide services like tours, story telling, and seminars. It could be found close to Anaheim in Orange, CA.

Mother Colony House

George Hansen built this house in the year 1857 by coming from San Francisco to begin a new settlement. In the present day this settlement is acknowledged as Anaheim.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum

This Auditorium holds 10,000 square feet of exclusive and appealing exhibits. I got fascinated after seeing a single item, which is an authentic Iron Maiden dating back to the 16th century. The museum has a Jungle theme and you can easily spend hours to explore them and get fascinated. This museum lies a block north of Knott’s Berry Farm, and is situated next to the museum called as Movieland Wax.

Nixon Birthplace

It includes a library, museum, and the house where former President Nixon took birth in Yorba Linda. The President and his wife both are buried at this site. You will get documents and mementos from Nixon’s life and his political career from this museum and the library. You can also experience the original pieces of furniture and items of that time. Better if you take a tour of the house to explore the life of president. At the back of this house, you can see gardens planted by Nixon for his beloved wife and a reflecting pool.

Movieland Wax Museum

The museum has more than 290 wax figures of movie and television stars from past and present. Excellent figures worth the money. You are allowed to click pictures here. Julie Roberts, Clint Eastwood, Gene Kelly, Lucille Ball, and Robin Williams are among the figures that you could found here. This Museum lies a block north of Knott’s Berry Farm and could be found next to Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum.

So just enjoy all these breathtaking attractions and make your trip wonderful by visiting this wonderland called Anaheim in California. I am very happy to choose a destination that gave me immense pleasure. I feel like each and every dreams of mine came true.
