First Arrondissment
The 1st Arrondisement is in the very heart of the city. It is walking distance to most tourist sites and therefore is more expensive. Some fabulous hotels are located here; but we have found a few less expensive gems as well.

Hotel Cambon
The Hotel Cambon, a fine central Paris hotel,  is located near the Place de la Concorde, Vendome, Opera, Faubourg Saint-Honore, Louvre Museum and Champs Elysees. The 40 sleekly decorated (but small) rooms and suites in this 4-star hotel in Paris are air conditioned and well equipped.
 

Hotel Mayfair
Located in the heart of Paris, between Place de la Concorde and Place Vendôme, the Hotel Mayfair is a calm, luxurious property providing traditional French hospitality, courtesy, professionalism, and attention. We consider this a 5-star property with 4-star prices. The ambiance is classic elegance; it is impeccable in cleanliness and in service. The fitness center’s swimming pool, steam room, and sauna are made with black slate and exotic woods, and provide a separate relaxation area and fitness room. The rooms provide luxurious amenities and great comfort. We love the location and believe you will love the experience of this great central Paris hotel.

 

Hotel Royal Saint-Honore
The Royal Hotel Saint-Honore is decorated in the Louis XVI style, with air conditioning and sound-proof rooms, marble bathrooms and exquisite modern conveniences. This central Paris hotel offers Wi-Fi internet connections and a reception desk that is open 24 hours a day. It is located within walking distance of the Opera and the Louvre Museum.

 

2nd Arrondissement
The Second Arrondissement is in the heart of Paris close to everything including the Louvre, the gorgeous Opera Garnier, fabulous shopping and great restaurants.

Hotel Westminster
This lovely hotel Paris Opera is decorated with refined, antique furniture. All bedrooms are charming and have private marble bathrooms, air conditioning, satellite TV, minibar, and safes. Some rooms are on the small side, but all are 4-star quality. The hotel restaurant “Le Celadon” is renowned for its outstanding French cuisine. The staff is very friendly and efficient. We stayed here recently and found it a pleasure to return to our little piece of heaven after a full day of sightseeing.

 

Edouard VII Hotel
Guests staying at the Hotel Edouard VII will enjoy spacious and elegant surroundings as the hotel has recently undergone extensive refurbishment. Classically styled furniture and rich fabrics create a charming and luxurious ambiance. 3rd Arrondissement

The Third Arrondissement is near the beautiful Place de Vosges and the nearby Marais district. It is busy and vibrant .

4th Arrondissement

The Fourth Arrondissement lies along the Seine and on the Ile St. Louis. It is near Notre Dame and the Hotel du Ville. A lush and beautiful area known for its beautiful bridges (ponts).

Hotel Villa Mazarin
Housed in a prestigious 1850′s Haussmann building, the Villa Mazarin is unique in its neo-imperial style, ambiance and warm welcome. This is the first 4-star hotel  in Paris to be completely non-smoking. Facing the glorious Renaissance Hôtel de Ville and BHV, the famous “Bazaar” where shopping is an adventure, you are just a few steps away from cafés, terraces, chic boutiques and bars. This is a great central Paris hotel.

5th Arrondissement
The fifth Arrondissement is located on the left bank (rive gauche) with views of Notre Dame and proximity to the gloroius Luxembourg Gardens. Don’t even consider leaving Paris without a stroll through the Luxembourg Gardens.

Relais St. Jacques

The Relais Saint-Jacques is near the heart of the Latin Quarter and close to the Luxembourg gardens and the Pantheon. The sixth Arrondissement is also known as the Latin Quarter because the Sorbonne where students studied Latin at one time is in this area. A colorful neighborhood, the Latin Quarter is made up of winding cobblestone streets lined with little shops and restaurants.

d’Aubusson
The elegant d’Aubusson Hotel is housed in a former 16th century mansion that has d’Aubusson tapestries displayed in the salon. All rooms are spacious, well insulated against noise, and fitted with individual air conditioning systems. Le Saint-Gregoire, a fine Paris Latin Quarter hotel, is located on a charming street just steps from the St. Placide Metro stop and just a short walk from the famous neighborhood of Saint Germain des Pres. The hotel is decorated in pastel colors and antiques. The bedrooms feature customized decoration, stylish furniture, fully equipped bathrooms and modern facilities. Enjoy the fireplace in the lobby in winter or the lovely interior garden in summer.

 

Relais St-Germain

All rooms are spacious and meticulously appointed with original wood beams, priceless fabrics, antique furniture and marble bathrooms. Every room has air-conditioning, sound-proofing, a safe, mini-bar, cable TV and direct dial telephone. Breakfast is included. The famous restaurant, Le Comptoir, is next to the hotel; it is a brasserie by day, and a petit-gastro restaurant by night. This is a great Paris Latin Quarter hotel.

 

7th Arrondissement
The seventh Arrondisement is known as St-Germain-des-Pres because the church of that name is a landmark in the area. Great for shopping and eating, this area is lively and lovely.

K and K Cayre
We just returned from three days of pampering at the K and K Cayre. Set in the heart of St-Germain-des-Pres, it is walking distance to the Latin Quarter, Invalides, the D’Orsay and Rodin museums. It is a luxurious boutique, left bank hotel in Paris, combining modern design and state-of-the-art technology with individual charm. Our room had a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower.
With individually adjustable air-conditioning, sound-proof windows, satellite TV with international channels, ISDN direct-dial telephone with voice-mail, safe, mini-bar, coffee & tea making facilities, free Internet access in all rooms, electronic door lock, and working desk in most rooms makes it perfect for leisure or business guests. The fully equipped, luxurious black marble bathrooms with hair-dryer and underfloor heating are what won me over. Non-smoking rooms are available.

Hotel Le Tourville

Town House nestled between the Dome of the Invalides and the Eiffel Tower, this central Paris hotel has been recently refurbished in pastel colors. The hotel is located on a quiet avenue, set off by beautiful lighting and landscaping. It offers a charming and elegant atmosphere with all rooms equipped with satellite TV, air conditioning, marble bathrooms with a bathtub, telephone, soundproofing, hair dryer, and WiFi. This is a serene and elegant 4-star hotel in Paris with excellent service at a reasonable price.

Montalembert

The beautiful and expensive eighth Arrondissement in on the right bank (rive droit,) and hugs the glamorous Champs Elysees. Many of the great hotels of Paris are here as well as the famous couturiers and “Grands Magasins” (department stores) This is Paris at its most chic.

Vernet

Designed by the architect Selonier, the Vernet seems like a private town house for its guests. The spectacular glass roof of the Vernet’s dining room is the creation of Gustave Eiffel, architect of the Paris landmark tower. Quiet, tastefully decorated bedrooms are spacious and newly refurbished in 2006. Access to the Royal Monceau fitness club is a privilege enjoyed by guests of the Hotel Vernet. Now that the refurbishment is finished, we highly recommend this central Paris hotel for its location, service and beautiful rooms.
 

Hotel Daniel 4-Star Hotel in Paris

Sofitel Paris Arc De Triomphe
Centrally located near the Champs-Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe, business center, museums & concert halls. The Hotel Paris Arc de Triomphe has all ingredients for an unforgettable stay. Its fine woodwork & beautiful marble create a warm atmosphere and the beds are particularly comfortable.The rooms have all the amenities expected in a 4-star hotel including Wi-Fi. This is a great central Paris hotel.

Claridge Champs Elysees

The Hotel Franklin Roosevelt is ideally located in the Champs Elysées area. Its style is cozy and elegant with a charming ambiance. The public rooms are as spacious as they are luxurious. Each of the hotel’s 48 elegant rooms are fully air-conditioned and beautifully decorated. This central Paris hotel underwent a complete refurbishment in 2003 and offers a peaceful retreat from city life. This is a great little boutique hotel at a nice price. Recommended.
9th Arrondissement
Home to the over-the-top baroque Opera Garnier, the ninth Arrondissement is a mixture of business and pleasure. The financial district is here as well as some wonderful restaurants and touristic sites.

Millenium Opera

11th Arrondissement
The 11th Arrondissement is set near the place de la Republique and the Bastille. It is close to the Marais and is still considered central Paris.<

Rooms are air-conditioned, and have a safe, satellite TV, a mini bar, and a hospitality tray with tea and coffee. We love the look and the fabulous service at this hotel and it is priced fairly. Highly recommended. Rated number 1 hotel in Paris by Trip Advisor.

Hotel Bassano
Situated close to the Arc de Triomphe in a beautiful neighborhood, the Hotel Bassano offers a warm welcome with the colors of Provence throughout. Air conditioned rooms all have sound-proofing, mini-bars, personal safes, multi-language TVs, and fully equipped bathrooms. Non-smoking rooms are available. This is a very nice central Paris hotel at very reasonable prices.

Villa Maillot 
  Located conveniently near La Defense and Porte Maillot, Villa Maillot features a conservatory restaurant, and rooms with marble baths and Art-Deco style furnishings.

18th Arrondissement
The eighteenth arrondissement, best known for Montmartre which was the center of the flourishing artist community from around 1907 to 1914. Picasso, Dali, Duchamp, Toulouse-Latrec, and others lived and worked here. The 18th is also the home of a thriving ethnic community in the east and a seedy red-light district along Boulevard de Clichy near Place Pigalle.
