I went to Dallas which is in Texas with my husband through a ship to explore this magnificent tourist destination. It was evening when we departed at the Port of Dallas. As there was not much time to explore the city we firstly went to arrange an accommodation and took sufficient sleep so that the next day could be hard enough to wander around the city. The red sun enlightened the pastel blue morning dawn. This was the first sight that attracted us after departing at the Dallas port. Traveling from Alaska to Texas was a wonderful journey that fascinated us at the first glance.

The second day we started preparing to survive for the whole day without taking rest and so we did the same. Before leaving the hotel which is at the downtown, I did net surfing to get some mind blowing attractions where we can hang out and make a memorable experience in Dallas. So I got to know that there is a Radiohead concert which was about to held on that day and seriously, I love to this. So we planned to visit there during the evening time and get back to room. Well, as all know that Dallas is a paradise for sports lovers we planned to make some good time by experiencing the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Desperadoes indoor football, and FC Dallas Soccer.

Wit this, we also enjoyed some beautiful time by engaging ourselves into various activities like fishing and skiing at the lakes in Dallas. You will find dozens of various lakes in this city and also hundreds of golf courses dot the landscape in North Texas. So to experience few of them will be great. This city is the third largest municipality in Texas, and also is the largest metropolitan area of the country. Dallas is also recorded as the 5th largest metropolitan area in the United States. Right at the heart of the city within Loop IH635 more than 1 million people resides and the metro area holds more than 5 million people with wide range of attractions and activities for each and every people in the world.

Few of the Dallas texas tourist attractions where we spent our precious time are in White Rock Lake Park, Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, The Sixth Floor Museum and the Frontiers of Flight Museum. Well, this was our first day so we get chilled. Dallas has many fine art galleries, shops, restaurants and entertainment place where you can easily hangout. Close to the West End Historic District you will get more shops and restaurants, and we had tried some delicious dishes in some of the restaurants. The Dallas Arts District has several museums and performance centers which is located at a distance of few minutes from each other.

Let me name you few of the sites that dominate the city’s beauty like several entertainment districts which is Dallas World Aquarium, Fair Park, Knox-Henderson, Lower Greenville, Oak Lawn, West End Historic District and West Village. Some museums here are Dallas Museum of Art, Sixth Floor Museum, Crow Collection of Asian Art and Nasher Sculpture Center. Besides this, several performing arts include Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Majestic Theatre, Theatre Three and Dallas Theater Center.

Well, this is not enough as Dallas has still plenty of brilliant attractions and some of the points of interest are American Airlines Center, Dallas Convention Center, Dallas Market Center, McKinney Avenue Transit Authority, Pioneer Plaza, Reunion Arena, Smirnoff Music Center and Nokia Theatre @ Grand Prairie. Also we did lots of shopping for our loved ones and some best places to experience shopping is in NorthPark Center, McKinney Avenue Antique Mall, Neiman Marcus’ Flagship Store, Stanley Korshak, Highland Park Village, West Village, The Shops at Willow Bend and The Galleria.

The climate of this city is humid subtropical and receives warm, dry winds from north and west during the summer season with 38 Degree Celsius. The region where Dallas lies is among the hottest in the United States. Winters remain normally mild and night temperature could be experienced from -1 Degree Celsius to 7 Degree Celsius. At the top is the clean blue sky; in between sky touching architectural structures; and at down greenery fascinates every tourists who throng here from all over the world.

Our four days in Dallas was great where we learnt about the people and its culture to an extent. You should not miss trying the well-known cuisine which is Barbecue. Well, Dallas is known for this speciality. You will get majority of religion as Protestant Christian, but other religions are also exist at a wide range. Infrastructure facilities and transportation makes this city even more attractive with well designed architectures.

Some of the nationals do not require visa to travel to Texas so you should check it from your nearby embassy. If visa is not required then a valid passport is the only thing which you need to reach to the provinces of United States. Our four days trip was excellent which we will remember for the rest of the life and also we are planning to visit Dallas once again to experience its natural beauty.
