I just discovered a great website that will let you immerse yourself into the look and feel of the Catalonia region and islands of Spain.  Visual Coast ( see links below) uses pictures, videos, maps and music  to help you learn about Spain’s beautiful Catalonian coast and its islands. There is also information on the history and geography of the areas, and sections on hotels, restaurants and tourist information. Not everything is in English at this time, but enough is there for you to get a good idea about these lovely places.

Visual Catalonia has visuals about Barcelona, Costa Brava, Costa de Barcelona-Maresme, Costa de Garaff, Pirineus and Terres de Lleida.

Ibiza Coast covers Ibiza, San Antony, Sant Joan, Sant Josep de Sa Talaia, and Santa Eluaria.

Mallorca Coast covers the coast areas of this island…too numerous to mention here.

Menorca Coast covers the entire island: Alaior, Ciutadella, Es Castell, Es Mercadel, Es Mijourn Gran, Ferreries, Mao, and Sant Lluis.

If these websites don’t make you want to visit Spain, I can’t imagine what will convince you!
