After the memory of 9/11, when the planes destroyed the world trade center, the towers came crashing down from the clear by sky.

There was a British memorial for the seventy British people who died at that tragedy.  The memorial was conducted at the Hanover square. This apparently is the heart of the lower part of Manhattan.  This place was primarily designed by many architects like Isabel and Julian Bannerman.  The best work that they have shown is the High grove which is made for the Prince of Wales.

Just like English country gardens, there are many lavish flights of fancy evocacy and these are quite a surprising choice. These came as quite a surprise as they usually are quite inclined to highly theatrical gardens.  The severity and functional modernism, of the typical urban neighborhood is not really their cup of tea.

When you actually do check the results of it out, you would find that it is quite creative and quite engaging. This site has a long triangle which is quite elongated. This triangle slopes downwards.  The place is jammed with traffic and is windy and shady. The hum of the pedestrians is almost all over.

The purpose of the gardens is actually quite symbolic. This place has large bannermans who are here to actually confirm and arrange for about two hundred and twenty feet of seating.

Apparently the people know for a fact that there are lots of seating and lots of paving. As the New York square is a place where a lot of people come to sit and have their lunch.

If you were wondering how you could make all this interesting then  when you see the shape of the square , you would noticed that it actually looks like a map of middle aged Britain.

Simon Verity is a famous sculptor who was asked to carve the names of all the British countries on a ribbon of stone all around the garden.

This garden is long finished and is used quite often on an everyday basis.  It is turned into somewhat of a very busy walkway. The walkway is complimentary to the responsiveness and the famous dynamism that exists in this part of the city.  The uncanny layout and the unique shade of green apparently works out well when you want to take your mind off work and just be a other person having their lunch or taking a walk here.
