The amount of travelers and people who volunteer in Thailand is increasing each year, it’s a fantastic country filled with lovely people as well as breath-taking islands. In fact there are so many places you should visit, but of course there’s never enough time, so here are a few of those must see places:

Bangkok- Of course, you have to experience the wonders of Bangkok, the hustle and bustle, the food and the wonderful sights. Bangkok is one of those cities where there’s just so much to see, from the culture to the nightlife, you will be on your feet the whole day!

Chiang Mai- Another very popular spot, and for good reason! Located to the north of Bangkok, it’s famous for its beautiful jungles and mountains, or if you prefer you can be a bit more cultural and visit the beautiful temples.

Phuket- This is probably the most famous island in Thailand, famous for its beaches and nightlife. However it’s also paradise, I don’t think I even need to say anymore.

Khao Yai National Park- This one of the rare remaining places where you can see wild elephants. An elephant trek in Thailand is practically a must. You can even enjoy an amazing night-time wildlife tour.

Koh Samui- Known solely for its scuba diving and parties, ever heard of a full moon party? This is where it’s at! They basically last the whole night! So maybe don’t plan anything too strenuous for the next day.

Thailand is full to the brim with amazing sights and attractions and it’s almost impossible to see everything in one trip. If you volunteer abroad, like in Thailand you have the opportunity to truly get to know one area as well as have the chance to travel to other amazing areas on the weekends. This is a great way to understand the Thai way of life, and live like the locals do. Volunteer in Thailand today and you most certainly won’t regret it, wherever you are in Thailand, there’s always something amazing close by to see.
