Danang, the second-largest city in southern Vietnam, has port facili­ties that make it important to that part of the country. Danang has a beautiful beach that isn't congested with tourists and you can see the locals fish. The sunset here is worth the view. During the war, it was the site of a large air force base and other military installations.
